Yes, our online training our course meets the state's training requirements for individuals seeking an unarmed security guard license in Tennessee and Alabama. As we create new courses for unarmed guard licensing in other states, we will ensure that our training meets every state's requirements.

Yes, there is a final exam at the end of the course. The exam is designed to evaluate your understanding of the materials covered in the course. You must pass the exam with a score of 70% or higher to receive your completion certificate.

Yes, you can retake the exam if you fail. You will have three attempts to pass the exam. If you are unable to pass the exam after three attempts, you will be required to retake the entire course.

For most training courses, you will receive a completion certificate via the Learning Management System. You can print or save your certificate as a PDF. Please note, if you are pursuing an unarmed state guard license in Alabama, you will be required to include this training certificate in your application packet. However, if you are pursuing an unarmed state guard license in Tennessee, you will not need to include this certificate in your application, as they will not require or accept an MSS certificate.

Upon course completion with a passing grade, you will receive your certification within 1 business day. The certification will be sent directly to the email you have listed in your account settings. You can also access your training certificate(s) on the MSS training platform anytime.

No, we will provide the state-compliant training and any necessary documentation that gives proof that you received and completed the training. Metropolitan Security Services (MSS) is not responsible for the completion or submission of your application to the state agencies.

No, Metropolitan Security Services makes no warrants, claims, or guarantees regarding licensure or jobs. However, to see a list of available security jobs in your area, please visit the Job Board page of our sister company, Walden Security.

At the present time, we do NOT offer any armed security classes.

Refunds will only be issued for cancellation requests made within 48 hours of the purchase transaction and before the initiation of the training course. Once the course has been initiated and you have accessed any course materials or content, you will no longer be eligible for a refund.
